Cloud finance upgrade and lawyer performance reporting

Freeths LLP · 2025 to present

  • Led the firmwide upgrade from on-premise Aderant to Aderant Sierra (cloud) with minimal disruption to finance operations.
  • Built a data warehouse on the Medallion architecture as a single source of truth for reporting.
  • Delivered SSAS Tabular models for self-service analytics, automating month-end reporting and replacing manual Excel workflows.
  • Created a Power BI app and a KPI dashboard for lawyers, with row-level security so people see only what they should.
  • Surfaced poor timekeeping and unrecovered aged debt, supporting better billing discipline and debt recovery.

Practice management migration and enterprise reporting

Browne Jacobson LLP · 2019 to 2025

  • Led the data migration from a legacy practice management system to Aderant as subject matter expert, with reporting on milestones and progress against plan.
  • Designed an enterprise data warehouse on SQL Server, fed by SSIS and Azure pipelines from CSV, Excel and system sources.
  • Migrated SSRS reports to Power BI, using DAX calculation groups, time intelligence and incremental refresh.
  • Built PMO dashboards giving leadership one view of delivery status, risks, costs and resource usage.
  • Identified time and billing irregularities to support firmwide governance.
  • Implemented Active Directory-based row-level security and Power Automate flows to keep SharePoint data fresh.
